Interior Design Planning & Construction Process

All projects are different, but our process remains the same

  • Email Coordination

  • Consultation (1 hour Site visit, video tour, phone call, or emailed photo review)

  • Proposal (Emailed within 2-5 business days after consultation)

Phase 1 | Design & Planning
Typically 2-4 months, depending on project scope

  • Measure existing spaces and produce as-built drawings

  • Concept development, including reference imagery and preliminary plans and elevations

  • Detailed design and planning, including finalized floor plans, electrical and lighting plans, elevations, millwork design, and all finish, lighting, plumbing, and appliance selections

Phase 2 | Construction Drawings & Specifications
Typically 2-4 months, depending on project scope

  • Preparation of a comprehensive construction drawing package

  • Detailed specification documents for plumbing, lighting, finishes, and appliances

  • Issue for tender package for contractor pricing

  • Review and revisions based on tender feedback

Phase 3 | Construction Administration
Timeline aligned with construction schedule

  • Construction package submission

  • Ongoing construction administration and coordination

  • Project photoshoot upon completion

Phase 4 | Furnishing (Optional Additional Scope)

  • Concept development

  • Sourcing and pricing

  • Procurement and ordering

  • Installation

  • Final photoshoot
