Midcentury Modern Renovation

When our clients purchased this gorgeous mid-century modern home and expressed a desire to incorporate modern, funky, and cheerful elements, we were all in. Throughout the kitchen and primary ensuite, we mixed warm wood tones with bold primary colours, layering in texture while maintaining a clean, contemporary feel.

The original ensuite floor plan was cramped and lacked functionality, so we reworked the layout to better suit the space. By shifting the bathtub, we were able to create room for a more generous walk-in shower. Bright ochre yellow mosaic tile now wraps the shower walls, while strategic pops of red and blue accent the warm wood wall panelling, bringing playful energy and warmth to this mid-century-modern family home.
